Teachers develop and implement a positive, nurturing and stimulating environment suited for the individual developmental needs of each child. Low classroom ratios allow for the development of secure, lasting relationships between children, teachers, and families. Hutch Kids is accredited by NAEYC and participates in Early Achievers.

  • Every faculty member benefits from quarterly one-on-one goal setting check-ins, annual reviews, and in classroom observations all to promote individual professional growth.
  • Opportunities to serve on staff led committees; attend and participate in leadership team meetings; and to serve in Library Coordinator, Parent-Education Coordinator, and New Hire Coordinator positions.
  • Monthly Faculty meetings include full staff discussions that influence decision making on policies and practices, as well as age level dialogues to support teaching practice.
  • Learning communities – opportunities for small groups to gather to focus on selected text to further our commitment to social justice.
