Meals & Snacks
Parents are required to bring a nutritious lunch each day that meets licensing standards as described in the parent handbook. Lunch boxes/bags and containers used to store foods should be labeled with the child’s name. Each lunch box should contain a large cold pack to keep the food cold. Hutch Kids provides whole milk to children under the age of two years and 2% milk to children two-years-old and above with lunch and at least one other time during the day. Hutch Kids provides three snacks to children daily after a child turns one year old. Families of infants are required to provide breast milk, formula and snacks when developmentally appropriate.
Parents with children who have special dietary needs or allergies should alert administration at time of enrollment.
